AP Calculus AB

This course is equivalent to a one-semester college calculus course. The purpose of the Advanced Placement (AP) course in calculus is to introduce students to the two major concepts of calculus:
differentiation and integration. Students will take the AP Calculus AB exam in May.
Prerequisite: Grade of "B" or better in Honors Precalculus or grade of "A" in Precalculus, and teacher and/or counselor recommendation.

AP Statistics

This course is equivalent to an introductory, non-calculus based, college course in Statistics. The course introduces students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing and drawing conclusions from data. Students are exposed to four broad conceptual themes: exploring data, planning a study, anticipating patterns, and statistical reference.
Prerequisite: Grade of "B" or better in Honors Precalculus or grade of "A" in Precalculus, and teacher and/or counselor recommendation.

Geometry

This is a standard college preparatory course concerned with the study of geometrical concepts
and the development of logical proofs.
Prerequisite: Grade of "C" or better in Algebra.
